Cyril wanted a unique space, full of fun and colourful details, which integrated with the salon's branding and market position, while allowing the salon team to soar in their creativity. The salon orientates the reception and waiting areas to the light-filled exterior and uses the bespoke handcrafted hair stations as the main organising device in the interior. As you enter and circulate through the space, you are surrounded by the activity of the hair stations, which form the central focus of both the interior and the client experience.

The shampoo stations are partially screened by the hair stations, creating a semi-private zone but still keeping the customer in the centre of the salon experience. A dedicated colour bar and colour consultation space has been created to allow the clients to enjoy colour samples and draw on the experience of the salon creatives.

‘Inner Space’ is the inner sanctum for the salon, it is predominantly used for hair loss fittings and consultations. The space can also be used as a private space for you to unwind or catch up with a friend on your salon visit.

Irish craftsmen from The Wood Factory brought to life the unique hair stations which were carefully crafted out of Irish beech. The hair stations set the tone for the interior pallet and are complimented by the bespoke colour bar, shampoo stations, retail stands and reception desk, which celebrate the CMH branding colours and create a vibrant and exciting interior.

The found materials and fabric of the existing shop unit were utilised and remodelled wherever possible, including the reconditioning of the existing granite floor which was wonderfully reinvigorated to enjoy a new life in CMH.

Cyril Morgan Hair offers a unique creative hair experience to its clients, the interior has been created to inspire this creativity and to provide a vibrant yet relaxing destination.
